Wealthy Mother Rips Bride Dress At Dallas Wedding Then Freezes After Seeing Green Locket

The high-key grand ballroom of the luxury hotel in Dallas, Texas sparkled under rows of massive golden chandeliers. White marble flooring stretched across the room, reflecting the bright lights and the massive framed American flag artwork hanging on the pristine wall. Guests in designer tuxedos and gowns stood around holding champagne glasses. But the air was thick with tension.

Eleanor: You don't belong in this family, Clara! You're nothing but a penniless gold-digger taking advantage of my son!

Clara: Mrs. Vance, please. I love Ethan with all my heart. I don't care about your family's money or estate.

Eleanor: Don't lie to my face! You walked into this wedding wearing a cheap white dress, thinking you could slide into the Vance trust fund!

Ethan: Mother, stop this right now! You're ruining our wedding day in front of three hundred guests!

Eleanor: I will not stand by and let this orphan trick you, Ethan!

In a fit of rage, Eleanor stepped forward and violently yanked the shoulder strap of Clara's delicate white corset dress. The fabric tore with a harsh sound. Clara gasped, stumbling backward as the sudden pull snapped the thin metallic chain around her neck.

A polished green jade locket flew off Clara's chest, tumbling through the air before striking the polished marble floor with a sharp clatter. The small piece of jewelry bounced twice and slid to a complete stop right between Eleanor's designer heels.

Clara: My locket!

Ethan: Mother! What is wrong with you?! You just ripped her dress!

Eleanor didn't answer. Her eyes widened in absolute shock as she stared down at the green jade locket resting on the shiny marble. Her breath hitched in her throat. The color drained completely from her face, leaving her pale and trembling. Her jaw dropped open in utter disbelief.

Eleanor: No... it can't be...

Ethan: Mother? Why are you staring like that?

Eleanor: Where did she get this... where did you get this locket?!

Overcome with frantic emotion, the wealthy mother dropped heavily to her knees right onto the cold marble floor, her trembling hands reaching toward the green stone as three hundred guests gasped in silence.
