He Found His Mother Pushing His Son Into The Deep Pool

The clear blue water of the luxury mansion swimming pool glistened under the hot Florida sun, surrounded by pristine white loungers and towering palm trees. Six-year-old Toby stood near the slippery edge in his blue swim trunks, shivering slightly despite the afternoon heat. Beside him stood Evelyn, his grandmother, her silk patterned robe fluttering in the breeze. Her face was set in a cold, harsh sneer as she looked down at her grandson.

Evelyn: You need to stop crying like a pathetic little girl, Toby.

Toby: Grandma, please! The water is too deep for me! I don't have my floaties on!

Evelyn: A true Sterling boy learns how to swim by force, not by being coddled by a common maid like your mother.

Toby: No! Grandma, stay back! I want my mommy!

Before the small boy could take a step away, Evelyn placed her manicured hand firmly against his chest and gave him a heavy, deliberate shove. Toby gasped for air as his feet lost traction on the wet tiles, falling backward into the eight-foot deep end with a loud splash. The water immediately closed over his head, swallowing his panicked screams in a cloud of bubbles.

Evelyn didn't even flinch. She adjusted her silk robe, turned her back on the churning pool, and sat down calmly on a cushioned white lounge chair. She picked up a crystal glass of iced tea from the side table, taking a slow, relaxed sip while listening to the muddled splashing behind her.

Underneath the surface, Toby struggled wildly, his arms flailing as he swallowed mouthfuls of chlorinated water. His small body kicked toward the light, breaking the surface for a brief second to let out a hysterical scream before sinking back under.

Toby: Mommy, help me! Please help me!

Evelyn: Kick your legs, Toby. Stop whining and swim.

From the glass patio doors fifty yards away, Sarah was holding a fresh towel when she heard the frantic splashing. Dressed in a simple floral cover-up, she froze as she saw her son's small head disappear beneath the blue surface. Horror surged through her veins, and she dropped the towel instantly, sprinting at full speed along the hard concrete deck toward the edge of the pool.

Sarah: TOBY! OH GOD, TOBY!

Without hesitating for even a second, Sarah dove directly into the deep end, her body cutting through the water toward her drowning child. At that exact moment, the double doors of the mansion burst open, and Arthur, dressed in a sharp business suit and tie, rushed out onto the patio after hearing the screams, his eyes locking onto the nightmare unfolding in his backyard.
