Officer Miller: Mr. Sterling, is your daughter injured?
David: She has bruising on her arm from where Victoria grabbed her, and she hit her shoulder when I caught her. I need the paramedics to examine her right now.
Officer Miller: Paramedics are right behind us. Let's take a look at that security footage on your phone.
David handed his smartphone over to Officer Miller and pressed play on the freshly recorded clip.
The video clearly showed Victoria dragging Chloe toward the edge, ignoring her screams, and deliberately shoving her body over the marble railing.
Officer Miller: Good Lord... she really threw her over.
Victoria: That video is altered! It's an AI fake!
Officer Miller: Ma'am, save it for your lawyer. You're being charged with attempted felony murder and child endangerment.
Two paramedics entered the mansion carrying medical kits and walked straight over to Chloe.
Paramedic: Hi sweetie, my name is Sarah. Can I take a look at your arm?
Chloe: Will it hurt?
Paramedic: Not at all. We're just going to make sure you're completely safe.
David: Go ahead, Chloe. Daddy is right here holding your hand.
Victoria was dragged toward the front doors by two officers, her designer heels dragging across the polished floor she had fought so hard to own.
Victoria: David! Tell them to drop the charges! We can work out a settlement! I'll sign the divorce papers today!
David: You had everything you could ever want in this life, Victoria. But you touched my daughter. Now you get nothing.
Victoria: You ruined my life!
David: You ruined your own life the second you pushed an innocent child.
The officers pushed Victoria into the back seat of the police cruiser and slammed the door shut, locking her inside.
Officer Miller walked back into the foyer, holding a notepad and writing down David's statement.
Officer Miller: Mr. Sterling, the prosecutor will want a copy of that video file immediately. This is an open-and-shut case.
David: I will have my legal team send the raw digital file directly to the District Attorney's office within the hour.
Officer Miller: Good. She won't be getting bail on an attempted murder charge like this.
David: Make sure she doesn't.
