Victoria: You laid your hands on me! I will call my divorce lawyer! I will take half of this estate!
David: You won't take a single cent from this family, Victoria. You're going to prison.
Victoria: You have no proof! It's your word against mine! A court will never believe a child over me!
David reached into his suit pocket and pulled out his phone, clicking a button on the screen.
David: Do you see those small black domes near the ceiling lights?
Victoria slowly looked up toward the crown molding above the grand balcony.
Victoria: What are those?
David: High-definition security cameras with audio recording. I installed them last week when Chloe told me she was afraid of you.
Victoria's face drained of all color as she backed away on her hands and knees.
Victoria: David... please... I was stressed... the prenup agreement was making me crazy...
David: You pushed a six-year-old girl off a twenty-foot balcony because of a prenup?
Victoria: I wasn't thinking! I didn't mean to force her all the way over!
David: The camera caught every single frame. It caught your hands on her chest, and it caught your voice telling her nobody was coming to help her.
Chloe walked slowly up the first few steps of the main staircase, holding her arm and sobbing quietly.
Chloe: Daddy... is she going to hurt us again?
David turned his back on Victoria and walked down to pick up his daughter, lifting her safely into his arms.
David: She will never touch you or step foot in this building ever again, Chloe. I promise you.
Victoria: David, don't do this! If I get arrested, think about the publicity! Think about your company stock!
David: My daughter's life is worth more than every share of stock in this country.
David dialed three numbers on his cell phone and put it on speaker mode.
Dispatcher: 911, what is your emergency?
David: I need emergency police units and an ambulance at the Sterling Mansion on Hillcrest Drive immediately.
Dispatcher: What is the nature of the emergency, sir?
David: My wife just attempted to murder my six-year-old daughter by throwing her off a second-story interior balcony. I have full video footage of the assault.
Victoria: No! Hang up that phone!
Victoria scrambled to her feet and lunged toward David, trying to grab the phone out of his hand.
David stepped back smoothly and planted a heavy side kick into her chest, knocking her backward onto the marble floor once more.
David: Stay down, Victoria. If you move toward my daughter again, I won't just slap you.
Dispatcher: Units are en route to your location right now, sir. Stay on the line.
David: We'll be waiting at the front gates.
