A Fresh New Beginning

The Spoiled Heiress Discovered Her Maid Was Actually A Millionaire

Chloe gasped loudly as the golden ring sat heavy inside her wet palm.

She realized that her fancy life of idle luxury was completely over today.

Without saying another word, she scrambled up off the white marble floor.

She ran up the grand staircase toward her bedroom to pack her bags.

The quiet lawyer closed his leather binder with a soft leather click sound.

"The property transfer papers are completely filed now, Mrs. Vance," he reported.

"Thank you, Arthur, you may go back to the office," Elena replied gently.

Mark walked over to his aunt and hugged her around her shoulders tightly.

"I am so sorry I brought someone like that into our lives," Mark said.

"I was so blind to how she treated the people around us."

Elena smiled softly as she patted her nephew's back with true love.

"You learned an important lesson today before it was too late," Elena said.

"Money can buy nice marble floors, but it cannot buy a heart."

Two large security guards stepped into the suburban luxury house foyer quietly.

A few minutes later, Chloe walked down the grand stairs carrying two suitcases.

Her fancy makeup was completely ruined and her head was bowed down low.

She walked past Elena without looking up at the proud silver hair once.

The heavy double doors closed behind Chloe with a strong, solid thud sound.

The house became completely peaceful and calm once again for the family.

Mark looked around the grand white foyer with a brand new clean perspective.

"What will you do with this big house now, Aunt Elena?" Mark asked.

Elena looked down at the metal mop bucket standing near the door.

"We will turn this place into a home for retired working people," Elena said.

"A place where everyone is treated with respect, kindness, and deep love."

Mark smiled widely as he picked up the mop to help clean up.

Together, they wiped the marble floor clean under the bright Texas sun.
