Arthur walked over to his side desk and pulled out a locked leather folder.
He opened the metal latch with a key he kept on his key ring.
He pulled out a set of official medical papers that he kept hidden away.
Victoria watched him with a cruel smile growing on her red lips.
"Go ahead and read them, Arthur," Victoria said with a mocking tone.
"You will see that I am right about that little boy."
Elena stepped forward while keeping her eyes on the documents in his hands.
"Sir, whatever those papers say, this child is innocent," Elena said gently.
"He needs a loving father, not someone who judges him for the past."
Arthur looked from the paper to the maid's honest, caring face.
He scanned the page until he saw the official seal from the city hospital.
The paper was a paternity test that his late wife had completed before passing.
Arthur read the bold black letters near the bottom of the white page.
His eyes widened as he realized what the paper actually said.
The document showed a ninety-nine percent match between Arthur and baby Leo.
The child was his real biological son without any doubt at all.
Victoria had lied about the test to justify what she tried to do.
Arthur looked up at Victoria with cold, hard disgust in his eyes.
"The paper says he is my real son, Victoria," Arthur said very clearly.
Victoria's smile disappeared completely as her face turned bright red.
"That is impossible!" Victoria yelled, rushing over to snatch the paper.
"I paid the assistant at the clinic to change the file names!"
Arthur caught her wrist firmly before she could grab the document.
"So you admitted it right here in front of us," Arthur said slowly.
"You tried to ruin my child's life just to take his inheritance for yourself."
Victoria realized what she had just said out loud in front of the maid.
She pulled her hand back and backed away toward the front door.
She knew her plan to take control of the family trust fund was over.
Elena held the baby safely as Arthur pointed a finger at the door.
"You are never touching my son again," Arthur told her in a low voice.
The house was quiet again, but the drama was far from completely over.
