Arthur stared down at his phone screen while his thumb tapped the glass quickly.
Victoria reached out and tried to knock the phone out of his hand.
"Arthur, please do not listen to this strange woman!" Victoria begged loudly.
Arthur stepped aside and kept his eyes glued to the bright phone display.
The video feed loaded quickly and showed the balcony from five minutes ago.
The video clearly showed Victoria holding the baby high over the marble floor.
It showed her looking around to see if anyone was watching her actions.
It showed her deliberately opening her fingers to let the blanket drop down.
Arthur felt his knees go weak as he watched the horrible video clip replay.
He looked up from the screen with tears of absolute shock in his eyes.
"How could you do this to an innocent child?" Arthur whispered in total heartbreak.
Victoria backed up against the polished wooden handrail of the staircase.
"You do not understand the whole story, Arthur!" Victoria shouted in panic.
"He is not even your real son!"
The words hung in the air like a heavy block of ice dropping down.
Elena held baby Leo closer to protect him from the angry yelling.
Arthur took two long steps toward Victoria with a furious look on his face.
"What did you just say to me?" Arthur yelled with anger in his lungs.
"I found out last week from the hospital records!" Victoria screamed back.
"Your late wife had a secret before she passed away!"
Arthur stopped moving and stared at Victoria as if she were a total stranger.
"My late wife loved this family with all her heart," Arthur said quietly.
"She cheated on you, Arthur!" Victoria yelled without any shame left.
"This child carries no Vance blood in his veins at all!"
"I was trying to save you from leaving your entire estate to a stranger's baby!"
Elena gasped at the cold words coming out of Victoria's mouth.
Arthur put his hands on his head as the news hit him hard in the chest.
He had spent months grieving his late wife while raising young Leo with love.
Now his new wife was claiming the child was not his real heir.
The room felt spinning and wild as secrets kept pouring out onto the floor.
Arthur looked at the small child crying softly in the maid's arms.
He needed to know if Victoria was telling the truth or creating more lies.
