David: My sister...?
Sarah: Our father built Vance Logistics thirty years ago. When he fell ill, Clara's mother forged a power of attorney document and transferred all corporate shares to her own trust.
Clara: That’s a lie! My mother inherited Vance Logistics legally through the probate court!
Sarah: She inherited it because she paid a dirty notary public fifty thousand dollars to hide my father’s real will!
David: Eleanor... is this true?
Eleanor: David, don't be naive! Business is complicated! My late husband made strategic corporate moves to secure our family's future!
David: Strategic corporate moves? You stole an entire company from a dying man and erased his children!
Clara: David, we are getting married in ten minutes! We can talk about family history after the reception!
David: There is no reception, Clara. And there is definitely no wedding.
David pulled off his white silk boutonnieres and tossed them onto the marble floor. Clara's face turned beet red as her eyes widened in pure fury.
Clara: You can't cancel this wedding! The press is standing outside the front gates!
David: Let them take pictures, Clara. Let the whole world see who your family really is.
Sarah: David, there is more. The real will is still inside the wall safe in the private library.
Eleanor: Security! Seal the library doors immediately!
David: Stay right where you are, guards! I hold fifty-one percent of the estate security contract!
Two tall security guards in black suits stepped back, lowering their hands as David took Sarah’s hand and led her toward the grand staircase.
Clara: David, if you walk up those stairs, my family will pull every dollar of investment from Sterling Enterprises!
David: Pull your money, Clara. I’d rather go bankrupt than spend one more second standing next to you in a church.
Eleanor: You fool! You're destroying your own inheritance!
David: It was never my inheritance to begin with, Eleanor. It was Sarah's, and it was my real father's.
David pushed through the grand wooden doors leading to the west wing, ignoring Clara's hysterical screams echoing from the main ballroom below.
Sarah: David, the wall safe combination is written on the back of the watch. Our father left it for us before he died.
David: Let's go open it, Sarah. It's time to bring Arthur Vance's legacy back into the light.
They hurried up the marble stairs as Clara and Eleanor ran right behind them, their heels clicking furiously against the stone steps.
