Victoria lay sprawled on the cold marble, groaning in pain and clutching her stinging face. Her red dress was crumpled around her legs, and her neat hair was a wild mess. She glared up at Sarah with eyes full of venom and hatred. Little Leo was sobbing softly now, his small arms wrapped tightly around Sarah's neck as he hid his face against her coat. Sarah stood tall over the fallen woman, breathing heavily, her body shield protecting the young heir from any further harm.
Victoria: You crazy bitch! You just ruined your life! I will make sure you starve in the streets for this!
Sarah: Threaten me all you want! I am calling the police and Mr. Blackwood right now. The court will see what kind of evil person you really are!
Victoria: Do you really think Mark will believe a poor maid over his own wife? I will tell him you tried to rob the house and attacked his son!
Just as the evil words left Victoria's mouth, a loud bang echoed through the grand foyer. The massive double wooden doors at the front entrance of the mansion burst open with violent force. Bright daylight flooded into the hallway, illuminating the dramatic scene inside. Mark Blackwood stepped through the entrance, holding a black leather briefcase. He had come home early from his business meeting to sign the final trust documents for his son. But instead of a quiet home, he walked into total chaos.
Mark stood frozen in the doorway for a second, taking in the sight before his eyes. He saw his wife in her red gown sprawled on the marble floor beneath the large American flag. He saw the maid kneeling near the wall, holding his weeping toddler in her arms. The sound of his son's desperate cries hit Mark like a heavy blow to the chest. His face turned red with instant, terrible rage as he set his briefcase down on the stone floor.
Mark: What in God's name is happening here?
Victoria: Mark! Oh thank God you are home! Mark, save me!
Victoria quickly changed her tone, putting on a fake sob as she scrambled to her knees on the floor. She pointed a shaking finger at Sarah, tears streaming down her cheeks in a staged act of innocence.
Victoria: Mark, this insane maid attacked me! She tried to hurt little Leo, and when I stepped in to save our boy, she beat me and threw me on the floor! Look at my face, Mark! Call the security guards immediately!
Mark marched forward across the grand hall, his shoes thundering against the marble floor. His eyes were dark and full of fury as he approached the two women. Victoria smirked secretly, believing that her wealthy husband was about to destroy the brave maid once and for all. She began to stand up, reaching her hands out to Mark for comfort and support. But Mark did not offer his hand. He stepped past her reaching arms, his jaw clenched tight with cold anger.
