Exposing The Fraud

Within twenty minutes, an ambulance pulled up to the main driveway. Paramedics rushed inside with a stretcher and a medical bag, quickly examining Sarah’s swollen, bruised fingers.

Paramedic: Her hand has severe contusions and likely two fractured bones, sir. We need to take her to St. Jude’s Medical Center for X-rays and splinting.

David: I’m coming with you in the ambulance.

Sarah: David... what about the estate papers? What about the law firm?

David: The lawyer is meeting us at the hospital, Sarah. He’s bringing the original, certified copy of Dad's will and the court order freezing all of Victoria’s bank accounts.

Sarah: Did Dad really know she was going to do this?

David: Dad caught her going through his safe two months ago. He realized back then that she only married him for his money.

Sarah: Why didn't he divorce her right then?

David: He was too sick, Sarah. He knew he didn't have much time left, so he spent his final weeks making sure his legal team locked down every single asset so she couldn't touch a dime after he passed.

The paramedics carefully lifted Sarah onto the gurney, securing her arm with a protective pad before wheeling her out toward the front doors.

David walked beside her, holding her uninjured hand as they stepped into the bright afternoon sunlight.

David: Look at me, Sarah. The estate is safe. You are safe. She is never coming back here.

Sarah: I don't even care about the money, David. I just wanted my father's memory to be respected.

David: It is respected. And justice was served today in the exact house he built for us.

As the ambulance doors closed and the vehicle began to roll down the long driveway, Sarah looked out the back window at the massive villa standing quiet under the sun. The shadow of Victoria’s cruelty was finally gone, replaced by the truth that had been caught under the watchful eye of the camera.
