Julian: Chloe! Oh my God, Chloe!
Julian dropped his briefcase and dropped to his knees on the carpet, gently cradling his wife's head in his hands.
Chloe: Julian... you came back... you came back from London...
Julian: I took the early flight. Why are you on the floor?! Why are there bruises on your face?!
Evelyn: Julian, thank goodness you're home! This clumsy servant just attacked me and flipped Chloe's wheelchair!
Hannah: That's a lie! Mr. Julian, please listen to me!
Evelyn: Silence! You're fired! Get off my property this instant!
Julian: Shut your mouth, Evelyn! Nobody is leaving this room until I get an answer! Hannah, speak right now.
Hannah: Sir, I came in to bring fresh towels. Your stepmother was holding Mrs. Chloe down and forcing her to drink something out of that cup!
Julian: Forcing her? Evelyn, what was in that cup?
Evelyn: It was just her herbal nerve tonic! The doctor prescribed it for her spinal recovery!
Chloe: No... Julian, it's not tonic... every time I drink it, my vision goes blurry and my heart beats crazy fast...
Julian: What did you say?
Chloe: She's been locking me in this study while you were away... she wouldn't let me call you...
Julian turned his head slowly toward Evelyn, his face turning pale with absolute fury.
Julian: You told me on the phone that Chloe was resting comfortably in bed every night!
Evelyn: She's confused, Julian! The accident damaged her memory! You know how unstable she gets!
Hannah: She isn't confused! Look at the floor, Mr. Julian! Look at the liquid on the carpet!
Julian reached out and dipped his fingertips into the spilled brown liquid on the carpet, bringing it close to smell it.
Julian: This smells like concentrated digitalis... this is heart medication!
Evelyn: I don't know what you're talking about! The housekeeper must have mixed up the bottles!
Julian: Chloe doesn't take heart medication! Who gave you this bottle, Evelyn?!
Evelyn: I was only trying to help her relax! She's been screaming and throwing tantrums all week!
Chloe: I was screaming because she tried to force my thumbprint onto those legal papers!
Julian looked down at the white documents scattered near Chloe's overturned wheelchair.
Julian: The estate trust documents... you brought out my father's original inheritance files?
Evelyn: As your late father's widow, I have a right to review the estate distributions!
Julian: You have no right to touch my wife, and you have no right to touch this trust!
