The Wedding Is Over

A Stepmother Ruined His Daughter Cake And Lost Everything

On the grand dining table sat a thick box filled with wedding invitations.

The fancy gold cards had been printed just yesterday for their upcoming ceremony.

They cost thousands of dollars and featured elaborate gold leaf designs around the edges.

David picked up one of the fresh wedding invitation cards from the top box.

He held the expensive card right in front of Vanessa's shocked face.

Vanessa: What are you doing with that invitation, David?

David: I am saving myself and my daughter from a massive mistake.

David gripped both sides of the heavy invitation card in his strong hands.

With one violent motion, he ripped the wedding invitation clean in two pieces.

The loud sound of tearing paper echoed sharply throughout the large sunroom.

He ripped the paper again and let the small pieces fall to the floor.

The torn invitation paper rested right on top of the ruined cake mess.

David: The wedding is canceled as of right now!

Vanessa gasped loudly and reached out her hands in sudden desperate panic.

Vanessa: You cannot cancel the wedding two days before the ceremony!

Vanessa: All my high-society friends are already traveling here by plane!

David: Tell your friends that your cruelty lost you everything today.

Vanessa: You are ruining my reputation over a simple little child's cake!

David: You proved today that you are unsafe to be near my family.

David pointed his finger firmly toward the front entrance of the grand estate.

David: Take your clothes and get out of my home immediately.

Vanessa realized that David was completely serious and would never back down now.

Her greed had blinded her to the fact that David was a fiercely protective father.

She stomped her designer shoe on the marble floor with pure frustration.

Vanessa: You will regret choosing this brat over a real woman!

David: The only thing I regret is letting you into our peaceful lives.

Vanessa turned around angrily and stormed out toward the grand main foyer.
