Vanessa noticed David looking up at the high corner of the large room.
Her face suddenly turned pale as she realized what was mounted up there.
David had installed top security cameras throughout his home to protect his daughter.
Every corner of the sunroom was recorded in crisp 4K visual footage.
David: Every second of this room is recorded on my secure server.
Vanessa took a quick step backward and began nervously twisting her engagement ring.
Vanessa: David, please, there is no need to look at silly cameras!
David: Stay right where you are while I check the video feed.
David walked over to the smart control panel mounted near the double doors.
He swiped his finger across the glass screen to pull up the live footage.
He rewound the video feed by two minutes and played the exact moment back.
The screen clearly showed Vanessa walking into the room with a cold smirk.
It showed her deliberately slamming her hand down to break the ceramic plate.
It showed her bending down to threaten the small girl with harsh words.
David's blood ran cold as he watched the true colors of his fiancée.
He turned away from the wall monitor and stared directly into Vanessa's eyes.
David: You lied right to my face after hurting my innocent child.
Vanessa: I was just frustrated because you ignore me for her all day!
Vanessa: She gets all your love and money while I get nothing!
David: She is my daughter, and she will always come first in my life.
Vanessa saw that her sweet cover was completely blown in front of him.
She dropped her gentle fake tone and raised her voice with nasty anger.
Vanessa: You were supposed to sign the prenuptial agreement tomorrow morning!
Vanessa: I deserve a share of this estate and your company profits too!
David realized that Vanessa never loved him or his sweet young daughter.
She had only wanted access to his vast fortune and his expensive mansion.
She viewed three-year-old Lily as an obstacle standing in her greedy way.
David held Lily even tighter and stepped toward the grand wooden dining table.
