The General Arrives In Force

A Silenced Female Soldier Secretly Calls Her High Ranking Father

The giant C-17 cargo plane touched down with a loud screech of heavy tires.

White smoke billowed into the sunny air as the massive aircraft taxied toward them.

Captain Miller and his officers walked out onto the tarmac to greet the plane.

Miller straightened his uniform jacket, assuming this was a routine high level inspection visit.

He had no idea that his entire world was about to collapse around him.

The giant rear ramp of the C-17 lowered slowly onto the concrete ground.

A sleek black military vehicle rolled off the ramp before the engines even stopped.

General Thomas Vance stepped out of the rear door wearing a crisp black jacket.

He was surrounded by six high ranking military police officers with official document cases.

Miller immediately snapped a crisp salute as the general approached the waiting officers.

"General Vance, sir! Welcome to Supply Depot Base Bravo," Miller declared proudly.

General Vance ignored the officer's extended hand completely and kept his gaze cold.

"Where is Specialist Sarah Vance?" General Vance demanded in a stern, booming voice.

Miller blinked in sudden confusion, caught completely off guard by the unexpected question.

"Specialist Vance? She is just a junior mechanic, General," Miller stuttered quickly.

"She had a minor slip on the gravel earlier and is resting elsewhere."

"She did not slip on any gravel, Captain," Sarah said as she stepped forward.

She walked out from behind the transport truck and stood directly beside her father.

Miller's face turned completely pale as he looked between Sarah and the general.

The physical resemblance between the father and daughter was suddenly undeniably clear to everyone.

"You threatened my daughter on this flight line fifteen minutes ago," General Vance stated.

"Sir, there has been a massive misunderstanding!" Miller gasped out, sweating profusely now.

"There is no misunderstanding here at all, Miller," Sarah said with total composure.
