Two police officers arrived at the front entrance an hour later.

Julian pointed to the documents on the table.

Julian: My wife forged legal documents to steal my family's trust fund.
Officer Davis looked over the files handed to him by Robert.
Officer Davis: Ma'am, we need you to come with us to the station.
Clara stood up slowly with tears of anger in her eyes.

The officer placed handcuffs around Clara's wrists.
She looked back at Julian one last time.
Clara: You will lose everything without me!
Julian: I already lost peace of mind living with you.
The officers led Clara out the front doors into the daylight.
Julian turned to face Elena in the quiet living room.
Julian: I can never thank you enough for your courage today.
Elena: I only wanted the truth to come out.
Julian: You saved my brother's future.
Julian: You will always have a place in this house.
The front door opened and Ethan walked into the foyer.
He looked tired from his rushed flight across the country.
Ethan: Julian, what happened here?
Julian stepped forward and hugged his brother tightly.
Julian: The truth finally came out, Ethan.
Julian: Your inheritance is safe now.
Ethan looked at the papers on the table in pure shock.

Julian: Yes, brother. Everything is going to be alright now.
Elena smiled softly as she picked up her cleaning supplies.
