Julian dialed the phone while standing in the hallway.
Clara grabbed his arm to stop him.
Clara: Stop this right now, Julian!
Julian pulled his arm away firmly.
Julian: Do not touch me again.
Clara: If you do this, everyone will know our business!
Julian: I don't care about public opinion anymore.
The phone connected on the second ring.
Julian: Robert, I need you at my house immediately.
Julian: We have a serious fraud issue with my father's estate.
Julian hung up the phone and looked at Clara.
Clara: You are ruining our lives over a maid's gossip!
Elena stepped forward into the hallway light.
Elena: It is not gossip, Clara.
Elena: I saw you fire the accountant last year.
Elena: I saw you force him to sign the fake documents.
Clara turned her rage back toward Elena.
Clara: You were hired to clean rooms, not spy on me!
Julian: Elena saved this family from your greed.
Clara: She is a thief who stole papers from my desk!

Clara pulled her phone from her purse.
Clara: I am calling my lawyer first.

Clara marched down the hallway toward the front door.

Julian: Pack your bags before the police arrive.

Julian: Forgery and theft are serious crimes.
