Julian laid the papers out across the glass coffee table.

Clara walked back into the room with her lawyer on speakerphone.

Robert nodded in agreement as he reviewed the bank records.

Robert: This is clear evidence of illegal conversion.
Clara turned off her phone and threw it onto the couch.

Julian: And you lied to me every single day.

Julian: He had to move across the country because he had nothing.

Elena brought a glass of water for Robert.

Clara fell back into an armchair in utter defeat.
