Davenport: What the hell do you think you're doing?!
The heavy wooden table tipped over sideways with a deafening crash, sending wine glasses, expensive ceramic plates, and cutlery shattering across the marble floor. The surrounding diners gasped aloud, scrambling back in their chairs as Davenport landed hard on the ground amidst the shattered glass.
Clara: Never touch my daughter!
Davenport: You crazy woman! You just assaulted a senior partner at Davenport Financial Group!
Clara: I don't care if you're the President of the United States! You do not stand over an eight-year-old girl and accuse her of stealing!
Clara stood tall, her feet planted firmly on the floor as she shielded Lily behind her legs. Davenport groaned, struggling to sit up while wiping sauce from his expensive navy suit jacket.
Davenport: Manager! Call the police immediately! This woman pushed me, and her child is a pickpocket!
Manager: Sir, please stay calm! Everyone please remain in your seats!
The restaurant manager rushed over from the front desk, his hands shaking as he looked at the shattered table and the furious crowd gathering around the commotion.
Manager: Ma'am, you cannot attack our patrons! This is an exclusive establishment!
Clara: Your patron cornered my young child on the floor and threatened her! Where was your staff when he was screaming in her face?!
Manager: Sir, what exactly happened here?
Davenport: I was walking toward the restroom when this girl intentionally ran directly into my legs. A minute later, I reached for my pocket and realized my gold custom timepiece was gone!
Lily: I didn't run into him, Mommy! I dropped my stuffed bear under the chair and was crawling to pick it up!
Clara: Do you hear that? She was getting her toy, you arrogant bully!
Davenport: She's lying! Kids like her are trained by trash parents to steal expensive items in crowds!
Clara: Watch your mouth! You have no proof of anything except your own vile assumptions!
Davenport: My watch is worth more than your entire life's savings, lady! Look at how you're dressed! You probably sent her in here specifically to target high-net-worth individuals!
Clara stepped over the broken glass, her eyes blazing with cold determination as she pointed her finger directly at Davenport's face.
Clara: You think money gives you the right to terrorize a child? You are going to apologize to my daughter right now.
Davenport: Apologize?! To a thief?! I'm going to make sure you spend the night in a jail cell for assault!
Manager: Ma'am, please step back. I have already instructed my hostess to call the local police department.
Clara: Good! Call them! I want the police here right now, because I'm filing charges against this man for harassment and intimidation of a minor!
Davenport: Go ahead and try! The police chief is a personal friend of mine! Do you have any idea who I am in this city?
Clara: I don't care who you are. But you're about to find out who I am.
