Arthur lunged forward off the icy floor like a trapped animal breaking free from a strong iron cage in the middle of danger. He swung the heavy metal oxygen tank with all his strength, smashing it directly into the first guard's knee with a loud metallic crash that filled the foyer.
The large guard yelled out in deep pain and collapsed onto his side, clutching his swollen leg as he rolled across the smooth polished stone floor. Arthur did not stop for a single second as he used the momentum to push himself up onto his feet in front of Kent.
Kent: Shoot him now you absolute idiots!
The second bodyguard pulled a heavy silver stun weapon from his belt and stepped forward to block Arthur's path toward his evil cousin. But Arthur ducked under the man's wild swing, grabbing the guard's thick arm and pulling him forward down toward the hard marble step.
The second guard crashed headfirst against the bottom stair rail, dropping his weapon with a loud metallic clatter that echoed through the house. Kent stared in absolute horror as both of his paid security men lay groaning on the floor, unable to get back up quickly.
Arthur: Put the gun down right now, Kent!
Kent: I am not giving up thirty million dollars today!
Kent squeezed the trigger of his handgun, but Arthur slammed his right shoulder directly into Kent's chest before the shot could be fired into the wall. The gun went off with a deafening bang, sending a bullet high into the grand chandelier overhead, shattering cut glass all over the floor.
Both men crashed hard onto the marble floor, rolling together near the base of the wide curved staircase in a wild violent struggle for control. Kent tried to raise the heavy barrel toward Arthur's head, but Arthur grabbed Kent's wrist with both hands, twisting it back with total fury.
Arthur: You tried to kill my sister and her child!
Kent: She was going to leave me with absolutely nothing!
Arthur slammed Kent's hand against the hard marble edge three times until the heavy blue gun slipped out of his numb fingers and rolled away. The weapon slid across the polished floor, stopping right at the small red shoes of little Lily, who stood watching from behind a stone pillar.
Lily: Kick it over to me, Uncle Arthur!
Lily quickly kicked the heavy weapon far down the long hallway, sending it spinning under a heavy wooden display table out of reach. Kent let out a loud groan of frustration as Arthur pinned both of his arms firmly against the cold stone floor near the main doorway.
Arthur: The game is completely over for you today, Kent.
Kent: You have no proof of anything, you old fool!
Suddenly the heavy front double doors burst open wide with a loud crash as cold night air rushed into the warm mansion hallway. Four city police officers rushed inside with bright flashlights and drawn weapons, followed closely by Arthur's head corporate lawyer, David Vance, holding a thick briefcase.
David: Nobody move! Put your hands in the air right now!
Arthur: David, get the child out of this room immediately!
The officers quickly moved in and placed heavy iron handcuffs around Kent's wrists before he could make another attempt to break free and run away. Arthur stood up slowly, breathing heavily as he watched the police pull his cousin off the floor near the shattered glass pieces.
