Marcus: What is going on here?!
Marcus rushed forward across the marble floor, his tailored dark suit moving fast as his face twisted into anger.
Vanessa: Marcus! Thank God you're home! This crazy waitress just attacked me!
Julian: Dad! She's lying! She pushed me down the stairs on purpose!
Marcus: Julian! My God, are you hurt?!
Sarah: Mr. Montgomery, your son is telling the truth. I stood right here and saw her shove him with both hands!
Vanessa: Don't listen to her, Marcus! She's a low-class temp worker trying to extort money from our family trust!
Marcus: Shut your mouth, Vanessa!
Marcus stepped up to the lower landing, his eyes burning with fury as he looked at the red marks on Julian's arms.
Marcus: Is this true, Vanessa? Did you touch my son?
Vanessa: Marcus, darling, the boy is clumsy! He tripped over his own dress shoes and fell!
Julian: I didn't trip! She said she wanted me out of her life forever!
Sarah: Look at his coat, Mr. Montgomery. There are green diamond sequins stuck to his jacket where she grabbed him!
Marcus leaned down and inspected Julian's grey suit jacket, pulling off three loose emerald sequins that matched Vanessa's dress perfectly.
Marcus: You monster...
Vanessa: Marcus, wait! It was an accident! I was just guiding him to his room!
Driven by pure instinct and anger, Marcus stepped forward and delivered two powerful slaps across Vanessa's face, sending her stumbling back into the steps.
Vanessa: Ah! Marcus! You hit me!
Marcus: Don't you ever dare touch my flesh and blood again!
Vanessa: You can't do this to me! I am your legal wife!
Marcus: You are a criminal who just tried to murder my heir!
Marcus raised his hand, pointing sternly at Vanessa while turning to his security chief.
Marcus: Take her away right now! You are going to pay for this!
Security Officer: Understood, Mr. Montgomery. Grab her.
Vanessa: Get your filthy hands off me! Marcus! Tell them to let me go!
Two heavy security officers grabbed Vanessa by her silk sleeves, pinning her arms behind her back as she kicked and screamed.
Vanessa: You're making a mistake! I know your secrets! I'll ruin your company!
Marcus: The only thing getting ruined today is your life, Vanessa.
Sarah held Julian closely, rubbing his back as he hid his face in her shoulder while the guards dragged Vanessa away.
Sarah: It's over, Julian. She can't hurt you anymore.
Julian: Thank you, Sarah... you saved me.
Marcus: Sarah, I don't know how I can ever repay you for what you did today.
Sarah: I just did what any decent person would do, sir.
Marcus: No, most people would have stayed out of it to keep their job. You fought for my boy.
Sarah: He's just a little kid, Mr. Montgomery. Nobody deserves to be treated like that.
Marcus: My name is Marcus. And you aren't a waitress in this house anymore.
Sarah: What do you mean, sir?
Marcus: From this second on, you are Julian's primary guardian and the head manager of this estate.
Julian: Really, Dad?! Sarah gets to stay with us?!
Marcus: She stays with us as long as she wants.
Sarah: Mr. Montgomery... Marcus... I'm honored, but what about the police?
Marcus: The police are already on their way. And when they arrive, we're going to make sure Vanessa never sees the light of day again.
Marcus looked up toward the top of the white marble stairs, his face cold and determined as the sirens began to wail down the driveway.
