David left Leo in the safe hospital room with his mother.

David: Put those papers down right now, Marcus.
Marcus jumped back in surprise, dropping a paper on the rug.
Marcus: David! What are you doing back here so soon?
David: I could ask you the exact same thing, Marcus.
Marcus: I came back to help clean up her private records.
David: You came back to destroy the evidence of your theft.
Marcus tried to smile, but his hands were shaking badly.
Marcus: I do not know what you are talking about at all.
David: The doctors found the heavy drugs you put in her tea.
Marcus turned completely pale as he backed away toward the desk.
Marcus: That is impossible. It was just a small dose to quiet her down!
David: You almost killed my wife inside her own house!
The two police officers stepped into the room with stern expressions.
Officer: Marcus Miller, stay right where you are and put your hands up.
Marcus looked around the room like a trapped scared animal.
Marcus: This is a massive misunderstanding! She is my sister!
Officer: You have the right to remain completely silent right now.
The officer stepped forward and placed heavy metal handcuffs on his wrists.
Marcus tried to pull away, but the officer held him firmly.
Marcus: David, please! Talk to Sarah! We can fix this together!
David: You spent months lying to us and stealing her inheritance.
Officer: Let us take him down to the station, sir.
David watched as the officers led Marcus out the front door.

David walked over to the desk and picked up the dropped folders.
