The Sudden Unexpected Fall

The Secrets Hidden Inside Her Wealthy Family Estate Uncovered

The bright morning sun streamed through the wide glass windows of the massive living room.

Sarah stood near her dark wooden desk in the spacious living area of the estate.

She looked down at the official legal papers resting quietly on the cool marble counter.

Her hands began to shake as she read the strange details printed on the top page.

The family trust fund seemed to have missing transactions from the past month.

She felt a sudden sharp pain press hard against the back of her head.

The room around her started to spin in dizzying dark circles.

She tried to reach out toward the nearby velvet armchair to steady her balance.

Her fingers slipped right past the smooth fabric as her strength completely vanished.

She collapsed onto the cold marble floor with a soft and heavy thud.

Her eyes drifted shut as total darkness swept quickly over her mind.

A few moments later, young Leo walked happily down the wide hallway.

He carried his bright red soccer ball under his arm after playing outside.

He stopped right in his tracks when he noticed the open doorway ahead.

He saw his mother lying completely motionless near the middle of the room.

Leo: Mom! Wake up! Please!

He dropped his soccer ball and ran frantically across the polished floor.

He fell straight to his knees right beside her still body.

Leo: Mom, please open your eyes right now!

He placed his small shaking hand firmly on her shoulder.

Her face looked very pale under the soft daylight streaming through the window.

He pressed his hand gently against her arm to feel for any warmth.

He could hear her breathing very slowly in tiny uneven gasps.

Panicked footsteps echoed loudly from the entryway near the front door.

David rushed straight into the room after hearing his son shouting.

His face went completely white as he took in the scary sight.

David: What happened to her? Sarah!

Leo: I found her right here on the floor, Dad!

David: Stand back for just a second, Leo.

David dropped down quickly on the opposite side of his wife.

He checked her neck gently to feel for a steady pulse beat.

David: Call an ambulance right now!

He grabbed his phone quickly out of his deep front pocket.

His thumb pressed the quick emergency button on the glass screen.

The phone began to ring loudly through the silent house.

Leo: She's still breathing! Help me!

David: They are answering right now, son.

David spoke frantically to the dispatcher on the other end of the line.

He gave them their address clearly and explained her sudden collapse.

He set the phone down on the floor to keep his hands free.

The dispatcher told him to stay calm while the paramedics drove over.

Leo refused to leave his mother's side for even one single second.

He held her cold fingers tightly inside his own warm small hands.

Heavy sirens echoed faintly from far down the quiet neighborhood street.

The sound grew louder and closer until it stopped right outside the gate.
