The police lead officer brought out a small recorder from his pocket.
"We have a security camera feed from the street," the officer said.
Mark looked surprised because he did not know about the street camera.
The officer played a short clip on his tablet screen for everyone.
It showed Victoria entering the home while carrying the baby roughly earlier.
It showed her setting up the scene inside before Mark arrived home.
Victoria gasped as she watched her own actions playing on the screen.
"That video does not prove anything at all!" Victoria argued angrily.
"It proves you put a child in danger intentionally," the officer replied.
Mark felt a huge weight lift off his heavy shoulders right then.
The truth was right there for the court to see clearly now.
She could not spin any more lies to the family court judge.
The female officer brought a soft blanket for the baby boy.
Mark wrapped Leo tighter and kissed the top of his head gently.
"You are safe now, my sweet boy," Mark whispered with deep love.
Victoria looked around the large mansion she so desperately wanted to own.
She had sacrificed her marriage and her honesty for this expensive house.
Now she was standing in the center of it while wearing handcuffs.
The metal clicked loudly on her wrists in the quiet marble room.
"Mark, please don't do this to me!" Victoria begged suddenly.
"Think about our family name and what people will say!" she cried.
Mark looked at her with steady eyes that held no mercy left.
"You ruined this family yourself when you chose money over love," Mark said.
The officers led her slowly toward the open front door exterior.
