The Dangerous Fall

The Rich Dallas Stepmother Pushed Her Over The Stairs

Evelyn's eyes went wide with pure fury as she reached out her hands suddenly.

Sarah tried to turn around and run away toward the upper hallway floor.

Evelyn moved fast and stepped directly behind Sarah near the tall iron railing.

The older woman placed both hands firmly against Sarah's pink sweater back.

Sarah: AAAH!

Sarah screamed as Evelyn gave her a very hard and mean push backward.

Sarah lost her footing completely on the slick wooden step near the top.

Her body tipped backward over the grand railing into the wide open air.

She fell down toward the lower floor as her purse dropped beside her.

At that exact moment, Mark walked into the foyer from his dark office.

He saw his daughter falling through the air and gasped in total terror.

Mark moved faster than he ever had in his entire adult life.

He sprinted across the polished white marble floor with his arms open wide.

His shoes made loud scraping noises against the clean marble surface below.

Sarah dropped fast toward the hard floor as the air rushed past her face.

Mark dived forward with all his strength to cushion her sudden heavy fall.

His body slammed into the floor right as he caught Sarah in his arms.

They hit the marble together with a loud and heavy physical thud sound.

Mark absorbed most of the rough impact with his own chest and arms.

Sarah gasped for air as she lay safe inside her father's tight hold.

Up at the top of the stairs, Evelyn stood in absolute shock.

Her hands gripped the iron railing tight as her face turned completely pale.

She had not realized that Mark was standing right there in the foyer.

Sarah began to cry uncontrollably while holding her stomach with trembling hands.

Sarah: My baby! Please help my baby!

Mark: Stay still, Sarah! Do not try to move!

Sarah: Is my baby going to be okay?

Mark: I am going to get help right now, sweetie!

Mark reached into his suit jacket pocket with desperate and shaky hands.

He pulled out his smart phone while his breathing remained very heavy.
