The heavy grand wooden double doors swung wide open, and four uniformed police officers burst into the bright white marble foyer, their boots clicking loudly against the stone.
Officer Miller: "Police! Nobody move! Hands where we can see them!"
Julian: "Officers! Over here! I am Julian Vance, the owner of this estate!"
Officer Miller: "Mr. Vance, we received an emergency distress call regarding an attempted murder involving a minor!"
Julian: "My wife, Victoria Vance, just pushed my three-year-old daughter off that second-floor balcony!"
Victoria: "Officer, he's lying! Look at my face! He attacked me! He slapped me multiple times in front of the maid!"
Officer Miller: "Ma'am, keep your voice down and step away from the gentleman!"
Sarah: "Officer, I am the nanny. I witnessed the entire attack! I had to dive across the marble floor to catch the child right before impact!"
Victoria: "They are framing me! They want to steal my marital rights and kick me out with nothing!"
Julian: "Officer, I have the entire incident captured on our hidden 4K security camera system. The cloud recording is on my phone right now."
Julian pulled out his phone, unlocked the screen, and handed it directly to Officer Miller. The officer tapped play, his face growing dark as he watched the video playback.
Officer Miller: "Ma'am, this video clearly shows you grabbing the child by her arms and shoving her over the balcony railing."
Victoria: "That video is fake! He modified it with AI software! You can't use digital video as evidence!"
Officer Miller: "This is timestamped, live-synced cloud footage from an encrypted security server. Turn around and put your hands behind your back."
Victoria: "Don't touch me! Do you know who my father is?! He's a corporate lawyer!"
Officer Miller: "I don't care who your father is. You are under arrest for attempted first-degree murder, felony child endangerment, and fraud."
The second officer stepped forward, grabbing Victoria's wrists and pulling them behind her back. The cold metal handcuffs clicked tightly around her wrists.
Victoria: "Ow! You're hurting me! Julian, tell them to stop! Please!"
Julian: "I told you to get out of my house. Now you're leaving in chains."
Victoria: "You monster! I hope you burn in hell!"
Sarah: "The only monster in this house is you, Victoria."
The police officers turned Victoria around and escorted her out through the grand wooden double doors. Her bronze gown dragged messily against the marble floor as she screamed hysterically all the way down the driveway.
When the front doors finally closed, a calm silence settled over the grand foyer. Julian dropped to his knees on the marble floor, wrapping his arms around Sarah and Lily.
Julian: "Sarah... I don't even know how to thank you. You saved my daughter's life today."
Sarah: "I only did what needed to be done, Mr. Vance. I love Lily like she's my own family."
Julian: "You are family now, Sarah. From this moment on, you will never have to worry about anything ever again."
Lily: "Daddy... is bad lady gone?"
Julian: "Yes, sweetie. She's gone forever."
