The morning sun streamed through the high windows of the grand luxury mansion, illuminating the light marble floors and bright white walls of the main entrance hall. A large American flag hung prominently against the wall, framing the two-story foyer in high-society elegance. Upstairs along the second-floor marble balcony, three-year-old Lily clutched a small stuffed bear, her tiny feet standing far too close to the decorative railing.
Victoria stood behind her in an expensive bronze satin gown, her face twisted into a cold, heartless sneer. She looked down into the empty foyer, ensuring no one was paying attention before taking a step closer to the defenseless toddler.
Victoria: "You don't belong here!"
Lily: "Mommy Vic... cold... want Daddy..."
Victoria: "Your daddy isn't going to save you today, you little parasite!"
Lily: "No! Let go!"
Without a single second of hesitation, Victoria grabbed Lily's small shoulders and violently shoved her over the balcony railing, dropping her straight into the open air of the grand foyer below.
Lily: "Daddy! Help me!"
The little girl's terrified scream echoed off the hard stone walls as she plummeted toward the ground. Down in the foyer, Sarah, the family's loyal maid wearing her traditional black and white uniform with a white apron, looked up in pure horror.
Sarah: "Oh my God! No!"
Sarah sprinted frantically across the light marble floor directly under the American flag. With no time to spare, she threw her body forward, diving across the hard floor with her arms stretched out to catch the child before it was too late.
Sarah: "I've got you, sweetie! You're safe now!"
Sarah caught Lily firmly against her chest right above the marble floor, absorbing the heavy blow on her own body while weeping tears of relief. At that exact moment, the grand wooden double doors slammed open, and billionaire Julian Vance rushed inside, unaware that he was stepping into a nightmare that would shatter his family forever.
