"You have crossed a line you can never cross back over," Arthur declared.
Victoria tried to muster her usual pride and adjusted her green dress.
"I am your legal wife, Arthur!" Victoria shouted back.
"You cannot just throw me out over a misunderstanding!" Victoria claimed.
"This is not a misunderstanding, it is a crime," Arthur snapped.
"I signed a prenuptial agreement with you for a reason," Arthur stated.
"That agreement clearly states any act of cruelty forfeits everything," Arthur added.
Victoria's jaw dropped as she remembered the legal terms.
She stood to lose the mansion, the allowance, and her luxury lifestyle.
"You wouldn't dare ruin my reputation in this town!" Victoria hissed.
"My lawyer will be here in twenty minutes," Arthur said calmly.
"And the police department will be right behind him," Arthur added.
Victoria gasped and pointed an angry finger at Elena.
"This is all your fault, you foolish maid!" Victoria shrieked.
"If you had minded your own business, none of this would be happening!" Victoria yelled.
Elena looked Victoria straight in the eyes without flinching.
"My business is keeping this innocent family safe, ma'am," Elena said clearly.
Victoria stepped toward Elena with a raised hand in pure rage.
Arthur moved fast and blocked Victoria's path completely.
"Do not even think about touching her," Arthur warned in a low rumble.
"Get your coat and get out of my sight before the officers arrive," Arthur said.
Victoria looked around the room and realized she had lost everything.
Her arrogance dissolved into bitter panic.
"Arthur, please! I will go to counseling!" Victoria begged while breaking into tears.
"I will never go near the baby again!" Victoria promised frantically.
"You will never go near my son ever again," Arthur answered coldly.
He turned his back on her and walked over to Elena.
He cradled little Leo gently as the child began to smile.
Victoria stood alone in the middle of the luxury living room.
The cold truth hit her that her golden life was completely over.
