Marcus grabbed the white paper directly out of Victoria's thin hand.
He scanned the bottom line where his father's name was typed clearly.
The signature looked real at first glance to the normal eye.
However Marcus knew a tiny detail about his father's writing habit.
Arthur always placed a small distinct dot right under his initials.
That signature on the contract lacked that private special mark completely.
"This signature is an absolute fake fraud," Marcus announced very loudly.
Victoria lunged forward angrily to snatch the paper back instantly.
"Give that back to me right now you pathetic boy!" she screamed.
Marcus held the forged paper far out of her reaching path.
"You tried to steal the entire business from Dad!" Marcus shouted back.
Arthur felt a terrible sharp tightness grow inside his chest suddenly.
He took a heavy step backward on the slick polished marble.
The shock of his wife's massive betrayal crushed his heart completely.
"Victoria how could you do this terrible crime to me?" Arthur gasped.
Victoria turned her sharp angry gaze straight toward the frail man.
"You were going to give everything to Marcus anyway!" she yelled wildly.
She slammed her hand hard against a nearby decorated glass table.
The heavy flower vase fell onto the floor with a loud crash.
Guests scrambled backward in sudden panic as water spilled everywhere.
"You ruined my life for twenty long years!" Victoria raged continuously.
Arthur clutched his dark grey jacket near his struggling lungs tightly.
His face turned extremely pale under the bright daylight bulbs above.
"Please stop this mad behavior right now," Arthur begged softly.
Victoria stepped even closer with her eyes wide from wild anger.
"I will take every single dollar you own!" she threatened fiercely.
Marcus pushed himself between Victoria and his weak collapsing father.
"Do not step any closer to him right now!" Marcus demanded firmly.
