Julian: "What did you do to my grandfather's will?"
Victoria: "I didn't do anything! Your grandfather was a smart man. He built this family empire with hard work, not charity!"
Julian: "Grandpa loved Clara! He met her twice before he passed away and he adored her!"
Victoria: "He was senile! He didn't know what he was doing!"
Maria: "Here are the warm towels, Mr. Julian!"
Julian: "Thank you, Maria. Hold this against her forehead gently."
Maria: "Yes, sir. Hold on, Mrs. Clara, the medics are on their way."
Clara: "Julian... she told me... she told me you knew about the contract..."
Julian: "What? Clara, no! I never saw these papers in my life!"
Clara: "She said... she said you wanted me to sign it... so we could keep the mansion..."
Julian: "She lied to you! Clara, I would sell this entire mansion before I ever let anyone treat you like this!"
Victoria: "Don't be so dramatic, Julian! A house like this costs fifty thousand dollars a month just in taxes and maintenance! How do you think you're going to pay for it without the trust fund?"
Julian: "I am a corporate lawyer! I earn my own income!"
Victoria: "Your salary is a fraction of what the Vance estate generates! You cannot afford this lifestyle without me!"
Julian: "Then I don't want this lifestyle!"
Victoria: "You say that now, but wait until the hospital bills come! Wait until you have to pay a mortgage without my backing!"
Clara: "I don't care about the money, Victoria... I never asked for a dime..."
Victoria: "Shut up! You were living in a small two-bedroom rental apartment when my son met you! You had student loans and a mountain of debt!"
Julian: "And she worked two jobs to pay off every single penny of that debt herself! She has more honor in her pinky finger than you have in your entire body!"
Victoria: "Honor doesn't pay the bills, Julian! Power does! Control does!"
Maria: "Sir, I hear sirens outside!"
Julian: "Thank God. Maria, go open the gate and guide the paramedics inside."
Maria: "Right away, sir!"
Victoria: "If those paramedics walk through that front door, this family will be featured in every tabloid in Texas!"
Julian: "Good. Let the whole world see what kind of monster you really are."
Victoria: "I am your mother! I raised you after your father died!"
Julian: "And you used his death to control everyone around you for twenty years. But it stops today."
The distant sound of sirens grew louder, echoing down the long residential driveway of the estate.
Clara: "Julian... my phone... in my bag..."
Julian: "What about your phone, honey?"
Clara: "I... I pressed record... before she forced the door open..."
Victoria's face dropped, all color draining from her cheeks in an instant.
Victoria: "You... you did what?"
Clara: "I recorded... everything..."
Julian looked down at his wife, a bitter smile touching his lips as the front door swung open and emergency responders rushed into the hallway.
