The Bride Struck A Waitress Before The Groom Discovered The Secret

The grand luxury ballroom of the Sterling estate was filled with bright natural daylight pouring through the tall glass archways. Sunlight reflected off the polished light marble floors and white walls, where a large American flag hung mounted above the altar. Hundreds of high-society guests in tuxedos and designer dresses sat in gold chairs, waiting for the multi-million-dollar wedding ceremony to begin.

Near the catering table at the back of the hall, four-year-old Lily clung tearfully to Clara, a fair-skinned young waitress wearing a simple pink catering uniform. Clara had soot smudges on her apron from working the kitchen warmers, but her arms held the small weeping child with deep tenderness.

Lily: Mommy, I’m scared. Please don’t leave me here!

Clara: Shh, sweetie. I am right here. Nobody is going to take you away from me again.

Suddenly, the music stopped as Evelyn, the bride, marched down the center aisle in her ornate white lace gown. Her eyes burned with pure fury as she saw the waitress holding the little girl near the front row of guests.

Evelyn: What is that filthy catering girl doing holding my flower girl?!

Clara: Miss Evelyn, please! The little girl was crying and looking for her mother!

Evelyn: Stay out of my way!

Before anyone could react, Evelyn grabbed a heavy wooden decorative stick from a nearby floral display. She swung the heavy wooden stick with all her strength from behind, striking Clara directly across the side of her head. A heavy wooden impact thud echoed through the silent ballroom, accompanied by a sharp female scream and a spray of blood splatter across the light marble floor.

Clara collapsed onto her side on the cold tile, bleeding profusely from her forehead while little Lily dropped to her knees, screaming and sobbing in terror.

Lily: Mommy! Mommy! Wake up!

Evelyn: Get this trash out of my ballroom before I ruin my white dress!

The entire crowd gasped in horror, but up near the altar, Marcus, the groom, turned around in absolute shock, his eyes locking onto the bleeding waitress and the weeping little girl who was calling out to him.
