Justice Restored

She Found Her Mother Scrubbing Floors In Her Own Mansion

The morning sun rose bright and warm over the estate the very next day.

Emily stood in the bright marble entryway with her mother sitting comfortably nearby.

Eleanor was dressed in her favorite yellow dress, drinking hot tea from a porcelain cup.

A moving crew arrived to clear out Derek's remaining belongings from the master suite.

Attorney Sarah sat at the dining table with a thick stack of finalized court papers.

"The judge signed the emergency title restoration order an hour ago," Sarah explained.

"The deed is back fully under your mother's name with you as sole beneficiary," Sarah added.

Emily sat down next to her mother and placed her hand over Eleanor's tired fingers.

"You will never have to scrub another floor in your life, Mom," Emily said gently.

Eleanor smiled through tears of joy, taking a deep breath of relief.

"I was so scared after your father passed away, Emily," Eleanor confessed softly.

"I thought I had lost everything to his greed and trickery," she whispered.

"You fought for this family when no one else could," Eleanor said proudly.

Emily looked around at the clean, bright walls of the home her father had built.

The dark dark stain on the marble floor was finally gone, scrubbed completely clean.

They walked out onto the front porch together to watch the sun shine over the lawn.

The family estate was finally safe, filled only with warmth and true security once again.
