An hour later, two black SUVs pulled up to the grand front entrance of the Miller mansion. Nathan stepped out, holding Lily securely in his arms, while Hannah walked proudly by his side.
Behind them came Nathan's senior divorce attorney, Mr. Harrison, carrying a thick black briefcase full of legal documents and police reports.
They opened the front door and walked into the grand foyer, where Victoria was busy packing her expensive designer suitcases in a desperate hurry.
When she saw Nathan enter with Hannah and the child, her face turned pale, but she tried to put on a confident, angry front.
Victoria: Why are you bringing those people back into my home, Nathan?
Nathan: This is not your home anymore, Victoria.
Victoria: I am your legal wife! You cannot speak to me like that!
Mr. Harrison: Mrs. Miller, I suggest you take a seat and listen very carefully.
The tall lawyer stepped forward and placed a stack of official legal papers onto the hallway table with a heavy thud.
Mr. Harrison: We have the official DNA results proving Lily is Mr. Miller's child.
Mr. Harrison: We also have bank records showing you stole two hundred thousand dollars from the family account.
Mr. Harrison: And we have a signed statement from the jeweler proving you faked the theft of your bracelet.
Victoria gasped, dropping her handbag onto the floor as her face lost all of its color.
Victoria: Nathan, please! I only did it because I was afraid of losing you!
Nathan: You raised a weapon against my innocent child and tried to destroy a gentle woman's life.
Nathan: You never loved me, Victoria. You only loved my money and status.
Mr. Harrison handed Victoria a pre-drafted divorce agreement that stripped her of any right to Nathan's business, mansion, or family trust fund.
Because of her proven financial fraud and attempted physical assault in the kitchen, the strict prenuptial agreement she had signed years ago was fully activated against her.
Mr. Harrison: You have two hours to pack your personal clothing and leave this property permanently.
Mr. Harrison: If you refuse, the police officers waiting outside will arrest you immediately for fraud and assault.
Victoria looked at Nathan with desperate eyes, searching for any sign of mercy on his face, but she found only cold, unbreakable steel.
Realizing she had lost everything she had worked so hard to manipulate, she grabbed her coat, signed the divorce papers with a shaking hand, and fled out the front door in total shame.
The heavy oak front door slammed shut behind her, bringing a peaceful silence back into the massive home.
Nathan turned to Hannah, taking her soft, work-worn hand in his own as little Lily giggled and wrapped her arms around his neck.
Nathan: You will never have to clean another floor or fear for your safety again, Hannah.
Hannah: Nathan... I don't know what to say... I never wanted your wealth.
Nathan: I know you didn't. You only wanted to protect our daughter.
Nathan: This home belongs to you and Lily now. We are going to build a real family together, the right way.
Hannah smiled through her tears, a genuine, radiant smile that lighted up her soft face after years of hardship and worry.
Nathan carried Lily into the bright, sunlit kitchen where the nightmare had begun just hours before, but now the room was filled with warmth and hope.
He set his daughter down on the polished floor, where she began to play happily with her small teddy bear under the warm afternoon sun.
The dark shadows of the past were finally gone, replaced by the bright promise of love, justice, and a true family that could never be broken again.
