Mark: Yes, I need to report a felony assault at 1400 Lakefront Drive. Please send an ambulance and police units immediately.
Chloe: Mark! Hang up that phone right now!
Mark: The victim is Victoria Vance. The perpetrator is Chloe Vance. We have clear video evidence of the assault captured on our property surveillance system.
Chloe: I will ruin you, Mark! I will take every single thing you own in the divorce!
Mark: You won't have a dime left after the civil lawsuit, Chloe. The police are on their way.
Mark ended the call and placed the phone back into his pocket. He looked over at Victoria, who was sitting on a lawn chair, holding a dry towel against her bleeding knuckles.
Mark: Are you holding up okay, Victoria?
Victoria: I'm okay... just shaken. My hand hurts terribly, but I'll survive.
Mark: I am so sorry. I had no idea she was capable of something like this.
Victoria: You didn't know, Mark. She hid her real face from everyone.
Chloe scrambled out of the pool, her wet heels clicking loudly against the marble as she stormed toward the glass patio doors.
Chloe: I'm leaving. I'm taking my car and leaving before anyone gets here.
Mark: You're not going anywhere, Chloe.
Chloe: Get out of my way, Mark!
Mark: The security gate at the front of the driveway is locked. I just activated the master lockdown code from my phone.
Chloe stopped dead in her tracks, staring at the massive iron gates in the distance, which were firmly shut. The heavy perimeter walls surrounded the entire ten-acre estate, leaving no way out on foot.
Chloe: Open the gate! Open the gate right now!
Mark: No.
Chloe: You can't hold me here against my will! That's kidnapping!
Mark: It's a citizen's arrest for violent assault. You can wait right here until the deputies arrive.
Chloe: You backstabbing coward! I built this life for us!
Mark: You built a house of cards on lies, forgery, and cruelty. And now it's completely falling apart.
The distant sound of police sirens began to echo across the quiet lake. Chloe turned toward the sound, her breathing fast and shallow, her face twisting in pure despair.
Victoria: It's over, Chloe. My father's memory will finally be cleared, and you're going to pay for every single thing you did to him.
Chloe: You think you've won? You think a simple video clip is going to send me to prison?
Mark: It's not just a video clip, Chloe. Point your eyes back up at the overhang.
Chloe slowly turned her head, looking up at the black glass dome one last time.
Mark: There's a camera.
