The sudden commotion brought heavy footsteps running from inside the huge mansion.
David Montgomery burst through the glass doors with a look of utter panic.
He wore a tailored dark suit and looked around the pool area wildly.
"This is my son!" David shouted as he ran to the wet maid.
He snatched the crying baby from Clara's arms and held him tight.
Clara stood dripping wet on the hot stone patio, shivering with adrenaline.
"What on earth happened out here?" David demanded with rising anger.
Evelyn rushed forward with tears suddenly streaming down her polished cheeks.
"It was an awful accident, darling!" Evelyn cried in a fake tone.
"The wind blew the stroller right into the deep end of pool!"
"I tried to catch it, but I was simply too far away!"
Clara shook her wet head vigorously as she wiped water from her eyes.
"That is a complete lie!" Clara yelled directly at the wealthy wife.
"There is no wind blowing today at all, look at the trees!"
"She shoved that stroller with both of her hands on purpose!"
David looked between his weeping wife and the dripping wet maid confusedly.
"Clara, that is a massive accusation to make against my wife!"
"Why would Evelyn ever do something so horrible to little Leo?"
Evelyn covered her face and sobbed into her expensive silk sleeve dramatically.
"She is trying to destroy our marriage, David!" Evelyn sobbed loudly.
"Clara has always hated me since the day you brought me home!"
Clara pointed her wet finger toward the dark green hedge nearby.
"Look at the camera hidden inside those thick bushes over there!"
David squinted his eyes toward the dense green leaves along the fence.
"What are you pointing at?" David asked, looking very bewildered now.
"There are no security cameras installed in that part of yard."
Clara stepped closer to the bushes and pulled back a wide branch.
A tiny black lens glinted softly in the bright afternoon sunlight.
"I installed that red camera last week myself," Clara revealed boldly.
"I knew someone in this house was trying to hurt baby Leo."
Evelyn's face suddenly turned completely pale under her heavy makeup.
She took a quick step back toward the side exit gate.
"This is absurd!" Evelyn yelled, her voice trembling with intense rage.
"You had no right to place hidden cameras on our private property!"
David held his shivering son tightly and stared at the dark lens.
"Is this camera recording right now, Clara?" David asked quietly.
"It records everything directly to a secure cloud server," Clara replied.
