Overcome with extreme anger, David stepped up the stairs toward the woman in the yellow gown. Victoria tried to back away, but her high heels caught the hem of her expensive yellow dress, trapping her against the heavy stone railing under the American flag. She raised her golden cane as if to strike him, her face twisted in pure hatred and unbridled arrogance. David moved with lightning speed, blocking the cane with his left arm while stepping right into her path with total authority.
Victoria: Get your filthy hands off me! Do you know who I am?
Before she could utter another word, a swift, powerful slap echoed loudly across the open marble plaza. The sudden impact snapped Victoria head to the side, sending her designer sunglasses flying through the air and smashing onto the stone. The sheer force of the blow made her lose her footing entirely, sending her collapsing hard onto the marble stairs right beneath the flag display. Her yellow dress billowed out around her as she sat stunned, gasping for air while clutching her red cheek in utter disbelief.
Victoria: You... you struck me! I will have you locked away in federal prison for the rest of your natural life!
David: That was for every lie, every bribe, and every mother you tried to crush with your stolen fortune.
Sarah: It is over, Victoria. You cannot hurt my little girl ever again.
The two city police officers rushed up the steps, but instead of helping Victoria up, they moved directly to restrain her legal team and secure the scattered financial papers spread across the stairs. Officer Davis pulled out his handcuffs and stepped right beside the fallen woman in yellow. Victoria looked up at the officers, expecting them to arrest David, but the officer knelt down and placed the cold steel cuffs firmly around her wrists.
Officer Davis: Victoria Vance, you are under arrest for federal judicial bribery, falsification of court records, and conspiracy to commit child asset theft.
Victoria: Unhand me! Call my chief council right now! You are making a huge mistake!
Officer Davis: You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.
Victoria wept tears of pure humiliation as the officers pulled her up from the white stone steps. Her yellow gown was stained with gray dust from the stairs, and her styled hair was completely ruined in front of dozens of onlookers who had pulled out their phones to record her dramatic downfall. She was led down the grand stairs, past the American flag, and directly into the back of a waiting police cruiser parked along the curb.
