Loud police sirens began wailing faintly in the distance, drawing closer to the grand estate gates.
Victoria's fake composure broke instantly, and her expression turned into a bitter, ugly scowl.
"You foolish boy, I built this entire company after your father passed away!" Victoria yelled.
"Without my management, this estate would have fallen into total bankruptcy years ago!" she claimed.
Mark pulled a thick envelope of legal papers out from his dropped leather briefcase on the floor.
"My father left clear instructions inside his real last will and testament, Victoria," Mark revealed.
"I hired a private investigator three months ago to audit all the family business accounts," he added.
Victoria backed up a step, her hand flying up to cover her gasping mouth in fear.
"You were stealing millions from Hannah's legal trust fund to cover your secret gambling debts," Mark said.
"You knew that on our upcoming anniversary, the full estate control would transfer directly to Hannah," he added.
Hannah stared up at Victoria, realizing the terrifying truth behind the violent balcony push.
"You tried to destroy my life just so you could keep stealing money," Hannah whispered in shock.
Victoria gritted her teeth, her polished veneer completely crumbling into desperate anger.
"She is an outsider who does not deserve a single penny of this family fortune!" Victoria spat.
"Your father loved me, and he wanted me to live like royalty forever!" she shouted wildly.
"My father trusted you, and you betrayed every single member of this family," Mark answered coldly.
Red and blue emergency lights flashed brightly through the large front glass windows of the foyer.
Heavy tires crunched loudly against the long gravel driveway outside the front mansion entrance.
Two uniformed police officers and two paramedics rushed through the heavy front double doors.
"Drop your hands and stay right where you are, ma'am!" the lead officer commanded Victoria loudly.
The paramedics hurried straight over to Hannah, opening their emergency medical kits beside her.
"Please check our baby first, please make sure he is alright!" Hannah begged the medical team.
Mark knelt down beside Hannah, squeezing her hand tightly while the paramedics began their examination.
