Mark rushed around the side of the house looking completely confused.
He saw Sarah holding their crying son on the frozen patio ground.
Mark: Sarah, what are you doing here on my property?
Sarah: Look at your son, Mark! Look at him right now!
Mark gasped as he finally noticed Leo shivering without a jacket.
He dropped his bags of groceries directly into the white snow.
He rushed forward and scooped Leo up into his warm puffer coat.
Mark: Oh my god, Leo! Why are you outside like this?
Sarah: Your precious new wife threw him out here in the freezing cold!
Mark stared at Sarah with total disbelief and shook his head quickly.
Mark: Victoria would never do something so cruel to a baby.
Sarah: She locked the glass door from the inside and watched him cry!
The sliding glass door slowly unlocked and slid open with a soft hiss.
Victoria stepped out onto the patio looking calm and elegant.
Victoria: Mark, thank goodness you are finally back home safe.
Mark: Victoria, why was Leo outside without his winter clothes?
Victoria put a hand over her heart and gasped in fake horror.
Victoria: Sarah must have taken his coat off to make me look bad!
Sarah: You lying snake! I just got here two minutes ago!
Victoria: I was upstairs taking an important phone call for my charity foundation.
Victoria: Sarah must have snuck onto the patio and staged this scene.
Mark looked back and forth between the two women with growing confusion.
Mark: Sarah, did you really do this just to ruin my marriage?
Sarah: Are you out of your mind?! Why would I freeze my own son?!
Leo buried his cold face deep into Mark's neck while crying softly.
Leo: Mean lady pushed me, Daddy. She locked the door on me.
Victoria smiled softly and reached out to pet the boy's hair.
Victoria: He is just confused because Sarah yelled at him, darling.
Sarah took a brave step forward and grabbed Mark by his shoulder.
Sarah: We are going inside right now to check the security cameras.
