The Arrival Of Justice

A Maid Saves An Heir From His Cruel Stepmother

The loud, piercing sound of police sirens echoed from the long driveway outside the mansion gates.

Arthur had pressed the silent alarm button on his phone the moment he saw the security footage details.

Victoria struggled wildly against Arthur's firm grip, but he held her arm securely without causing graphic harm.

"Release me right now, Arthur! I will sue you for everything you own!" Victoria shrieked in absolute desperation.

"You will be suing no one from a state prison cell, Victoria," Arthur answered, his tone completely steady.

The front doors swung open again, and two uniform police officers rushed into the bright, marble-tiled foyer.

"Mr. Sterling! We received your emergency panic signal! What is the situation?" the lead officer asked loudly.

Arthur pointed directly at Victoria, who was still trying to twist away from his powerful grip.

"This woman attempted to commit a severe crime against my infant son right here on the balcony," Arthur stated clearly.

"I have clear, high-definition video evidence of the entire incident recorded on my security server," Arthur added instantly.

The second officer stepped forward immediately, bringing Victoria's hands behind her back to apply steel handcuffs.

The sharp metallic click of the handcuffs closing filled the quiet mansion hall like a final sentence.

"You cannot do this to me! Do you know who I am?!" Victoria screamed as the handcuffs locked tight.

"We know exactly who you are, ma'am, and you have the right to remain silent," the officer stated calmly.

Victoria thrashed around, her dark teal dress tearing slightly against the heavy brass door frame as they led her out.

She glared back at Clara with venomous hatred, but Clara met her gaze with cool, calm strength.

"You lost, Victoria. Greed got you nothing in the end," Clara said softly as the officers pushed Victoria outside.

The heavy oak doors closed firmly behind the police, leaving a peaceful, heavy silence throughout the vast foyer.

Arthur let out a long, exhausted breath, running a hand through his dark hair as his shoulders slumped slightly.

He walked over to Clara, looking down at his resting baby son with immense gratitude and deep relief.

"I do not even want to think about what would have happened if you had not been there," Arthur said softly.

"I would lay down my life to protect this sweet baby, Mr. Sterling," Clara answered from the heart.

Arthur looked at Clara with newfound respect, realizing how truly blessed his family was to have her loyal presence.

"You are far more than an employee in this house, Clara," Arthur said, his voice filled with sincere warmth.

"Starting today, your role here changes completely, and your loyalty will be rewarded beyond measure," Arthur added firmly.
