A New Beginning of Trust

A Cruel Stepmother Tried To Destroy Her Wealthy Husband's Daughter

Two weeks passed quickly after that terrible morning at the luxury estate.

The high court acted fast, granting Arthur a full, immediate legal divorce.

Victoria remained behind real iron bars, waiting for her serious criminal trial.

Her greedy attempt to steal the family trust fund was completely broken.

Arthur sat down at his large office desk with his chief legal adviser.

He signed the final legal papers that stripped Victoria of any claim to his estate.

Then, Arthur pulled out another set of clean white legal documents from his folder.

He called Sarah into the large home office later that bright afternoon.

Sarah entered quietly, wondering why her employer wanted to meet with her today.

Arthur motioned for her to take a seat in the comfortable leather chair.

Arthur: Sarah, you saved my entire world when you jumped into that water.

Sarah: I only did what any decent human being would do, sir.

Arthur: It was more than that. You showed true loyalty and real courage.

Sarah: Thank you, Mr. Sterling. I just care about Lily.

Arthur: And that is why I want to make a permanent change today.

Arthur handed her a clean document that listed a brand new employment contract.

He was offering her the position of full head house manager with triple salary.

He also set up a private college trust fund for Sarah's own young children.

Tears filled Sarah's eyes as she read the generous terms on the paper.

"Mr. Sterling, this is far too much," Sarah said, her voice trembling softly.

"It is not enough for saving my child," Arthur answered with a warm smile.

Lily ran into the room right then, holding a bright colorful drawing she made.

She handed the paper straight to Sarah and gave her a big tight hug.

The drawing showed Sarah, Lily, and Arthur standing together under a bright sun.

The dark shadows of greed and hatred were gone from the home forever.

True peace had finally returned to the estate, stronger and brighter than before.
