The next morning Mark went directly to his central bank downtown.
He needed to freeze all family trust accounts before Sarah could touch them.
As he walked into the marble bank lobby he spotted a familiar coat.
Sarah was standing at the teller window holding a large leather handbag.
She was trying to transfer money to an offshore account in the Caribbean.
Mark walked right up behind her with two police officers at his side.
Mark: Your plan is completely over Sarah!
Sarah: Mark what are you doing here right now?
Mark: The police know who you really are!
Sarah: You cannot prove anything against me in court!
The police officer stepped forward and placed metal cuffs on her wrists.
Sarah screamed as bank customers turned around to watch the scene.
Her slick disguise was completely shattered in front of everyone.
Officer: Sarah Jenkins you are under arrest for fraud and endangerment.
Sarah: Mark please tell them this is all a big misunderstanding!
Mark: You tried to harm my innocent child for money.
Sarah: I was desperate Mark you have to forgive me!
Mark: I will see you in court at the formal trial.
The officers led Sarah away through the glass doors of the bank.
Mark took a deep breath of clean fresh air as he stepped outside.
The dark shadow over his home was finally starting to lift away.
