Several weeks passed quickly as life inside the Sterling household returned to a warm routine.
David officially hired Sarah as the permanent head manager of the entire mansion estate.
She took wonderful care of the house while ensuring Lily felt loved and cherished every day.
The low balcony railing upstairs was completely redesigned with a high, solid glass safety wall.
David personally inspected every inch of the home to guarantee maximum safety for his family.
Victoria faced a formal court trial for child endangerment charges later that summer afternoon.
The court judge reviewed the clear camera evidence and issued a strict restraining order against her.
She was ordered to perform extensive community service and pay heavy legal court fees.
David felt a deep sense of relief knowing justice had been served properly by the law.
He started taking Lily to the local park every single afternoon after her elementary school ended.
They flew bright colorful kites together across the grassy fields under the warm blue sky.
Lily's cheerful laughter filled the air once again, replacing the dark fear of that afternoon.
One afternoon, David sat on a park bench while watching Lily play happily on the swings.
Sarah walked over and handed him a cup of hot coffee with a warm smile.
Sarah: She is back to her happy self again, Mr. Sterling, thanks to your quick bravery.
David: I only did what any loving father would do to protect his precious child, Sarah.
Sarah: You saved her life that day, and she will never forget how much you love her.
David looked at his daughter and felt a deep surge of gratitude inside his heart.
He knew that no matter what challenges life might bring, he would always protect her.
The bonds of love inside their small family were now stronger than they had ever been before.
Lily ran over from the swings with a bright flower she had picked from the lawn grass.
Lily: Look, Daddy, I found a pretty yellow flower just for you today!
David smiled softly and held his sweet daughter close in a loving, warm embrace forever.
