The medium slash low angle followed the man as he stormed away from the maid toward the stairs, his face twisting into an expression of blinding fury.
Arthur: You think you can destroy my family and walk away smiling?
Clara: Stay away from me! Don't you come up these stairs!
Arthur: I'm coming up whether you like it or not!
Clara: Help! Officer, arrest this man! He's attacking me!
Arthur: You wanted a scene? I'll give you a scene you'll never forget!
The medium shot captured the man rushing up the stairs and aggressively slapping the woman across the face two to three times in rapid succession.
A sharp slapping impact rang out, followed immediately by gasping cries of shock and pain from Clara as she reeled from the sudden force.
Clara: You... you actually hit me! You brutal animal!
Arthur: That was for my daughter! And there's plenty more coming from the judge!
The close-up showed the woman stumbling backward onto the stairs in shock, holding her face as the man towered over her in rage.
Arthur: You are going straight to federal prison, and you will never see a dime of my estate!
Clara: My face... you bruised my cheek! I'll sue you for everything you're worth!
Arthur: Sue me from a jail cell! See how far your high-priced divorce lawyers get you behind iron bars!
Officer Davis: Hold it right there! Put your hands where we can see them, Mr. Keller!
Arthur: Officer, I'm right here. Arrest that woman for attempted murder of an infant!
Officer Davis: We saw the whole thing from the foyer, sir. Mrs. Keller, you're under arrest for attempted homicide.
Clara: This is a conspiracy! They're framing me because of our messy divorce!
Officer Davis: Tell it to the judge, ma'am. Put your hands behind your back.
The metallic click of handcuffs echoed sharply against the marble steps as Officer Davis secured Clara's wrists.
Clara: You'll regret this, Arthur! Both of you will rot in hell!
Arthur: Take her out of my sight. Get her out of my house forever.
Officer Davis escorted the sobbing, furious woman down the grand staircase toward the waiting cruisers outside.
Arthur: Elena? Are you and the baby still doing okay up there?
Elena: We're safe, Mr. Keller. The little one finally stopped crying and fell asleep.
Arthur: Thank God. Let's start over, just the two of us and my safe little girl, far away from this nightmare.
