The local police officers arrived at the mansion twenty minutes later.
Two officers stood in the grand entrance hall near flag background.
They reviewed the security video footage on the digital tablet carefully.
Officer Davis: This video provides clear evidence of endangerment, sir.
Arthur: I want full legal charges pressed against her immediately.
Victoria stood between the two tall officers with low head.
Her elegant champagne dress looked wrinkled and messy now today.
Victoria: Arthur, please forgive me for what I have done!
Arthur: You showed no mercy to an innocent helpless infant child.
Arthur: You will face the full consequences in a court room.
The officers guided Victoria out through the front double doors.
The heavy dark doors clicked shut with a loud final sound.
The grand foyer was quiet and peaceful once again now.
Arthur walked over to Sarah who stood near the window.
He looked at the humble maid with immense tearful gratitude.
Arthur: You saved my son's life today, Sarah.
Sarah: I only did what any decent person would do, sir.
Arthur: You did far more than keep this estate clean today.
Arthur: You stood up against cruelty without any fear at all.
Arthur reached into his suit jacket and pulled out his pen.
He wrote a clear document on his desk right then.
Arthur: Starting today, your salary will be tripled permanently now.
Arthur: And you are the head manager of this entire home.
Sarah wiped a soft tear from her warm red cheek.
Sarah: Thank you, Mr. Montgomery, from the bottom of heart.
Arthur: No, thank you for protecting what matters most to me.
Little Leo woke up and smiled brightly at his father.
Arthur took his son into his strong warm loving arms.
The true heart of their home was finally safe forever.
