The private study was lined with dark walnut bookcases and books.
A massive gold desk sat directly under the high framed windows.
Arthur stood behind his desk with his arms folded tightly together.
Sarah stood near the door while holding baby Leo in arms.
Victoria sat on the brown leather sofa with her arms crossed.
Arthur: We are going to resolve this truth right here today.
Victoria: There is nothing to resolve with a lying maid, Arthur.
Arthur: Sarah has worked for my family for over three years.
Arthur: She has never lied to me about anything before today.
Victoria: So you trust a paid servant over your wedded wife?
Arthur looked down at the dark shining wood of his desk.
He remembered the conversation about his legal estate from last week.
He had updated his will to leave everything to baby Leo.
Victoria had complained about the trust fund terms for three days.
Arthur: You asked me about the inheritance clause yesterday morning, Victoria.
Victoria: What does my legal security have to do with this?
Arthur: You were angry that Leo receives the entire family estate.
Victoria: I was only asking about my rightful future protection here!
Sarah stepped forward slightly into the bright sunlight of room.
Sarah: Sir, I heard her talking on the phone yesterday afternoon.
Victoria: Keep your quiet mouth shut, Sarah!
Arthur: Let her finish speaking without interruption, Victoria!
Sarah: She told someone that the baby was in the way.
Sarah: She said the trust fund would dissolve if Leo passed.
Victoria stood up from the soft leather couch in pure outrage.
Her face went completely white as she stared at the maid.
Victoria: She was eavesdropping on my private personal business calls!
Arthur: Did you say those terrible words on the phone, Victoria?
Victoria: I was speaking to my financial manager about legal options!
Arthur: Options regarding my infant child's inheritance and life insurance?
Victoria stumbled backward slightly against the dark walnut bookcase shelf.
She realized that her quiet words had been exposed clearly now.
Victoria: You are taking everything out of its proper context now!
Arthur: My eyes are opening to the truth very quickly today.
Arthur reached down toward the brass button on his desk phone.
He pressed the button to connect to the estate security office.
Arthur: Security, bring up the hallway camera feed immediately now.
Victoria's hands began to shake as she heard his command.
The truth was caught on high definition lenses around house.
