Mark pointed his long arm directly toward the large open front doors.
"Get out of this house forever!" Mark shouted in a commanding voice.
Victoria tried to speak but no sound came out of her dry throat.
She grabbed her small designer purse off the entry table near the door.
She hurried out into the pouring cold rain without looking back at all.
The heavy front doors slammed shut behind her with a loud final sound.
Mark sank down onto his knees on the cold white marble floor today.
He held baby David close to his warm heart as the baby stopped crying.
David looked up at his loving father with big clear dark eyes now.
Elena hugged her father tighter and began to cry tears of great relief.
"You saved your baby brother today, Elena," Mark said softly to her.
"I am so proud of your great courage today, my brave little girl."
Mark turned his head to look at Anna who was standing close by.
"Thank you for saving my son's life, Anna," Mark said with deep gratitude.
"I am doubling your salary starting today and you are family now."
Anna wiped away her tears and gave a small gentle smile back to him.
"I was just doing my duty to protect this sweet child, sir," she said.
Mark knew that the road ahead would be long and very difficult for them.
He would have to hire a divorce lawyer to end his bad marriage quickly.
He would have to change all the security locks on the grand mansion doors.
But looking down at his two safe children, he felt a deep peace inside.
The dark storm of deceit and lies was finally over for his small family.
They were safe together in their bright warm home on the hill now.
Mark kissed David's soft forehead gently while holding Elena close to him.
