A Sudden Moment Of Chaos

The Stepmother Thought She Inherited Everything Until The Real Will Appeared

Victoria lunged forward near the top edge of the marble landing.

Sarah gasped sharply and moved back to protect her baby.

Mark sprinted across the polished floor toward the grand staircase base.

Mark: Victoria, stop right now before somebody gets hurt!

Victoria tripped over the long hem of her dark purple gown.

She lost her balance and stumbled backward against the wooden banister.

She grabbed the railing tightly as her breath caught in her throat.

Sarah lost her footing on the slick marble and slid downward.

She fell onto the plush rug at the base of the stairs.

The sudden shock made Sarah close her eyes and faint instantly.

She lay motionless on the white floor near the bottom step.

Victoria stood frozen on the stairs with wide horrified eyes.

Victoria: NO!

Mark burst through the inner doorway and ran to Sarah's side.

He dropped quickly to his knees on the hard floor surface.

Mark: Sarah! Wake up right now! Can you hear my voice?

He placed his hand gently on her shoulder with deep panic.

Sarah remained completely quiet and still on the soft carpet.

Mark looked up at Victoria with absolute unbridled fury.

Mark: What did you just do to my sister?

Victoria: I swear I didn't want this! She rushed toward me!

Mark: YOU LIAR!

Mark pulled out his phone and dialed emergency services immediately.

Mark: We need an ambulance at the estate right now!

Victoria scrambled frantically back up the stairs toward her bedroom suite.

She slammed her heavy oak door shut and turned the lock.

Mark stayed on the floor and held Sarah's cold hands tightly.

Mark: Hang in there, Sarah, help is coming right now.

Sarah groaned softly as she slowly began to open her eyes.

Sarah: Is the baby okay, Mark?

Mark: Just stay still until the paramedics get here, Sarah.

The loud sound of distant sirens echoed down the neighborhood street.

Mark looked toward the front door as the bright lights flashed.

He knew that justice was finally coming for their family.
