Richard took the golden pocket watch from Sarah's hand with deep emotion.
Richard: This watch belonged to my father, how did it get under there?
Leo: I saw Victoria hide it under the table earlier this afternoon!
Victoria: That is ridiculous, I would never steal anything in this house!
Richard signaled to the head of security standing right beside the heavy doors.
Richard: Pull up the high-definition security camera feed on my phone immediately.
Victoria's face grew completely pale as the security chief pulled out his tablet.
Victoria: Richard, there is no need to make a huge scene before guests!
Richard: If you have nothing to hide, then you should not be worried.
The security chief turned the screen toward Richard so he could watch the footage.
The video clearly showed Victoria taking the pocket watch and hiding it earlier.
It also clearly showed her pushing the vase off the marble table intentionally.
Sarah watched as Richard's expression turned from calm curiosity into overwhelming fury.
Richard: You deliberately tried to frame my innocent child for your greed!
Victoria: I was just trying to teach him some discipline and respect!
Richard: You do not discipline my son, and you certainly do not lie!
Victoria stepped forward to touch Richard's arm, but he backed away instantly.
Richard: Do not put your deceitful hands on me ever again, Victoria.
Victoria: Please, Richard, we can fix this after the party ends tonight!
Richard: The engagement is officially over as of right this very second.
The guests around the foyer began whispering loudly to each other in shock.
Victoria looked around the grand room, feeling humiliated and completely defeated now.
She glared at Sarah with pure hatred, knowing the waitress exposed her completely.
