The next afternoon, Leo and Sarah arrived together at the grand corporate building downtown.
They walked side by side into the top floor boardroom where Richard was sitting.
Richard looked up from his executive desk and froze when he saw Sarah entering.
Richard: What is the meaning of this? Why is this woman in my office?
Leo: She is my mother, Uncle Richard. And this is her legal office too.
Richard: Security, please remove these people from my private floor immediately!
Leo: Security will not touch us today, Richard. Look at these court filings.
Leo slammed a thick stack of certified legal papers onto the large mahogany desk.
A well-known family divorce lawyer walked into the room right behind them.
Lawyer: Mr. Richard, we have filed a formal lawsuit for fraudulent custody signatures.
Richard: You have no proof of any fraud after fifteen long years!
Lawyer: We have the original bank records showing where the trust fund money went.
Sarah: You stole my son and my late husband's life insurance payout, Richard.
Richard: I took care of the boy when you had nothing to offer him!
Leo: You used me as a pawn to control the company mortgage and shares!
Richard fell back into his leather chair as his face turned pale with fear.
He realized that the legal paper trail was far too strong to deny.
Lawyer: The judge has already issued a temporary freeze on all business accounts.
Leo: You will return every single cent to my mother before the trial begins.
Richard: Leo, please... I am your family too. We can settle this privately.
Leo: You separated a child from his mother for greed. That is not family.
