Confronting The Mastermind

The Rich Woman Claimed My Baby Was Hers Until He Arrived

Within thirty minutes, the family attorney Mr. Harrison arrived at the mansion estate.

He carried a heavy black leather briefcase filled with original estate documents.

Two local police officers waited quietly in the front hallway near the grand staircase.

Mr. Harrison: Julian, I brought the original birth records and trust fund documents as requested.

Julian: Thank you, Richard.

Julian: Please inspect the adoption transfer paperwork Victoria filed last week.

Mr. Harrison placed the white papers onto the desk and put on his reading glasses.

He carefully examined the red notary stamp stamped on the bottom corner of the page.

Mr. Harrison: This notary stamp is completely fraudulent, Mr. Sterling.

Victoria: That is impossible!

Mr. Harrison: I know my own firm's stamp, Mrs. Sterling, and this is a cheap forgery.

Clara let out a deep breath of relief as she held her baby tight.

Clara: I knew I never agreed to give up my precious boy.

Julian: Who forged this official stamp for you, Victoria?

Victoria: I will not say another word without my private attorney present!

Julian: You do not need to say anything because the proof is clear as day.

Julian turned toward the two police officers standing by the doorway.

Julian: Officers, my wife forged legal documents to unlawfully take custody of this infant.

Officer: Mrs. Sterling, please step forward and keep your hands visible.

Victoria: Get your hands off me right now!

Victoria: Do you know who my father is in this state?

Officer: The law applies to everyone equally, ma'am.

The officer stepped forward and carefully placed steel handcuffs around Victoria's slender wrists.

Victoria glared at Clara with pure anger running through her veins as she was led away.

Victoria: You will pay for ruining my life, you miserable nanny!

Clara: You ruined your own life by choosing greed over human kindness.

The police officers escorted Victoria down the grand marble staircase and out the front doors.

The heavy oak entrance doors slammed shut behind them with a decisive thud.

The vast estate suddenly felt quiet and peaceful for the first time in months.

Julian sat down in his chair and rested his heavy head inside his open hands.

Julian: Clara, I am so deeply sorry for the terrible nightmare you endured here.

Clara: It was not your fault, Mr. Sterling.

Julian: I am going to make sure justice is fully served for you and your son.
