Arthur looked from the furious face of his wife to the pale maid holding his crying son.
He immediately dropped his expensive leather briefcase onto the shiny marble floor.
Arthur: What on earth is going on in my home right now?
Victoria instantly changed her cold expression into a soft, weeping mask of pure sorrow.
She ran toward Arthur with open arms and fake tears streaming down her face.

Victoria: This crazy maid stole baby Leo and tried to hide him in the basement!
Victoria: I caught her coming out of the dark room with our sweet boy!
Elena stepped forward firmly, holding baby Leo tightly against her warm chest.
Elena: That is a complete lie, Mr. Sterling!
Elena: She was the one who locked your baby inside the cold storage room!
Victoria: Do not listen to her lies, Arthur! She is just trying to save herself!
Arthur looked down at his small son, whose tiny hands were still cold to the touch.
His face grew dark with serious concern as he gently touched Leo's cool cheek.
Arthur: Leo is freezing. Why is my son so cold, Victoria?
Victoria: The maid left the basement door open, Arthur! I swear it was her!

She had completely forgotten about the new security system Arthur installed last month.

Arthur walked quickly toward his private office near the back of the grand hall.
